As she watched her Beauty boy bleed and die,
His heart gushing out across her thighs,
Aphrodite must have wished,then wondered why

Today’s NaPoWriMo prompt was to use the name of one of Iain M. Banks’s spaceships for a title and let that guide the poem. Since I’ve never read Banks, I used the NaPoWriMo list, and couldn’t get away from the first ship on the list. That seemed lame to me, but sometimes that happens. ~LD
